Course Description

What if prophetic maturity is the degree to which your life looks like the cross and Christ? That’s the way of Jesus - and the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. This course will help us navigate the turbulent waters of modern day prophetic. It will enable us to engage with the prophetic with wisdom and courage- holding strong to the plumbline of the Word. The voice of God through the Word and the Spirit must chart the course of the Church. There has always been an attempt to silence or distort that voice from within and without. This course will help us both recover and rise to the sound of God in the garden and give ear and hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Rev 2:7). Over five weeks, participants will grow in attunement to God’s voice, develop biblical discernment, and learn how to steward prophetic grace in a way that reflects the heart, wisdom, and authority of Christ in today’s world. It invites participants into a deeper formation of the prophetic rooted in self-emptying love—the way of the cross.

Course Format

The first 4 weeks will consist of 3-hour classes, each featuring two main teaching sessions. Each session will include 1 hour of teaching followed by group discussion, with a 20-minute break in between. The final week will be a 4-hour class, culminating in a time of reflection, sharing, commissioning, and prayer.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to: • Understand the prophetic as an expression of Christ’s nature, not just a spiritual gift. • Cultivate a prophetic life formed by humility, surrender, and self-emptying love. • Develop biblical discernment regarding prophetic practices and teachings. • Learn how to steward, deliver, and pastor prophetic words with wisdom and maturity. • Strengthen confidence in partnering with God to speak, stand, and act in alignment with His purposes. • Raising sons of Issachar who understand the times and know what to do in situations and city-nations.

Course Requirements and Grading

●  All class attendance mandatory. ●  Completion of all academic/practicum work to a satisfactory standard. ●  Full compliance with school policies regarding tuition and character. ●  Projects will be based on an assumption of trust and will require a commitment to self supervised honesty and integrity in both academic and practical assignments. ●  Reflective Paper:  Students will submit a 1,000–1,200-word paper synthesizing key learnings from the course in their own words. The paper should summarize major concepts covered, articulate what has been learned, and reflect on personal impact and real-life applications. Write in the first person, connect insights to personal experiences, and reference specific course materials or discussions. Avoid repeating lecture notes—focus on interpretation, reflection, and meaningful application.
